Programme overview

The Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential is a professional qualification that assures both the credential-holders themselves and their employers that they are competent and experienced project managers.

To obtain a PMP® credential, the candidate is expected to receive 35 hours of project-management training. This is a mandatory requirement and evidence of this training is required when applying to sit the PMP® examination. Our PMP Certification Training is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and necessary contact hours to pass the exam and succeed as a project manager.

Learning Objectives

• Revise all core PMP^® exam content and hot topics
• Identify and recognise the various types of PMP^® exam questions
• Complete sample exams using our PMP^® exam simulator
• Assemble an exam checklist allowing easy recall of mathematical formulae that appear on the exam
• Compile a PMP^® exam strategy that will be used in the actual PMP^® exam
• Become familiar with the exam policies and procedures
• Meet the 35 hour Project Management training requirement for the PMP^®application

Course Agenda

Velopi’s PMI® Authorized, PMP® Exam Preparation course is an intensive exploration of the role of a project manager. It approaches the subject from three different, but related, angles – following PMI’s Talent Triangle model (Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen). The course is divided into six lessons, as follows:

Lesson 2: Start the Project

Lesson 3: Plan the Project

Lesson 4: Lead the Project Team

Lesson 5: Support Project Team Performance

Lesson 6: Close the Project/Phase
