Turning Talent into Triumph: A look back at our 2026 Conference

Fri Sep 11 2026

On 2nd September, we welcomed members, partners, exhibitors and industry professionals to the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Limerick for our annual SNS Expo & Next Level Skillnet Conference.

This year’s theme, Turning Talent into Triumph, put people, skills and the future of work firmly centre stage. With a morning packed with ideas, insights, connections and plenty of conversation.

The event got off to an energetic start with speed networking, giving attendees the chance to meet new people, make valuable connections and get conversations moving – all at a suitably speedy pace!

Our exhibitors brought their expertise and insights to the room, creating opportunities to discover new ideas, services and solutions while connecting with businesses from across the region.

We were also delighted to hear from our keynote speaker, Denise O’Brien who explored Rethinking Talent: Designing Organisations Where People Thrive, challenging us to think differently about how organisations attract, develop and retain talent, and how we can create workplaces where people can truly thrive.

The conversation continued with our panel discussion on talent challenges.

Our panel brought together a fantastic mix of experience and expertise, with Maeve Guilfoyle, Takumi, as moderator, joined by Stephen Bracken, Designwise Automation; Dr Yvonne Delaney, Grove Institute; Mark O’Sullivan, iQuTech; Denise O’Brien, O’Brien Learning Solutions/Evolve; and Ian Hannon, Activate Training & Consultancy.

Together they tacked some of the real-world issues businesses are facing when it comes to finding, developing and retaining the right people. From skills gaps to changing expectations, the discussion highlighted both the challenges and opportunities ahead.

With great conversations, fresh perspectives and plenty of connections made, it was a fitting way to bring Turning Talent into Triumph to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, exhibited, spoke, shared their expertise and helped make the morning such a success. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
